The demand for HRaaS is growing quickly, and we have already delivered several successful projects. Now we’re ready to take this offering to the next level. That’s why we’re looking for a hands-on, forward-thinking Director HRaaS to lead the way.
This is not a role for someone who wants to maintain what already exists. It’s for someone who wants to build, shape, and grow something that will define how HR works in the future.
The role
As Director HRaaS, you will play a central role in one of Amby’s most strategic growth areas. You will help shape the direction, lead the work, and represent Amby as a trusted voice for modern HR in Norway. This is your opportunity to develop a service that defines how ambitious companies scale through people.
The role sits at the intersection of strategy, business, and delivery, connecting people and data to create real results. You will work closely with our COO, Esben, leadership team, and clients to design solutions that make HR smarter, faster, and more impactful.
We will provide the platform and the brand. You will bring the drive, the vision, and the expertise to make HRaaS a service that stands out in the market.
How you will create impact
Every client you work with will be in motion, growing fast, hiring quickly, and building structure as they scale. You will help them turn that momentum into something sustainable, people-first, and built for long-term growth.
You will:
- Lead client projects that combine strategic HR, operations, and people analytics
- Partner with leadership teams to show how HR drives commercial results
- Develop and grow the HRaaS offering from idea to execution
- Build frameworks that connect people initiatives to measurable outcomes
- Represent Amby in the market and help define how modern HR is delivered
Our projects can include work on culture, performance, compliance, compensation, organizational design, and data. We use technology wherever it adds value, whether it’s to automate the boring stuff, spot patterns in people data, or help leaders make smarter decisions. Whether it’s tracking engagement, benchmarking pay, or improving how teams grow, tech is what helps us move faster and deliver real results.
You do not need experience with every aspect of HR, but you should be curious about how technology and insight can make HR more strategic and valuable.
Who you are
You understand HR from both a strategic and operational perspective. You may have worked in a growth company or advised leaders who build them. You know how to turn business goals into people strategies that create real impact.
You might be an HR leader, advisor, or consultant ready to own your next chapter. What matters most is your ability to build trust, deliver results, and lead with confidence and clarity.
We believe you bring:
- Experience across HR, people strategy, or consulting
- A commercial mindset and a desire to build something new
- Strong communication skills, both in English and Norwegian
- Curiosity for technology, data, and how HR can use both to create value
- Energy, adaptability, and a hands-on attitude
